Yasgur's Farm, 2004
Acrylic and Oil on Canvas
27 × 27 inches
When I first exhibited "Breakfast with Tang" in the late 90s, I was surprised that no one noticed the flower form I borrowed from the Woodstock posters. In 2002, I decided to do a variation on the theme, to be titled "Yasgur's Farm." The Woodstock Music and Art Fair may be part of the cultural lexicon, but the stiff and twisted flower from the promotional poster has faded into our past.
